NCR's manufacturing density means there is no shortage of inkjet printer suppliers operating in the region, but local stock levels and the number of technicians a supplier actually has on the ground vary quite a lot from one to the next.

Matching a printer to the right substrate is far easier when the supplier actually visits the NCR facility and sees the real production line, rather than making a recommendation based on a description over the phone. This kind of on-site visit is common practice among the better local suppliers.

Some NCR suppliers also offer financing or leasing arrangements, which can be useful for a unit that wants the printer without committing a large amount of capital upfront, especially when cash flow is being managed carefully around other investments.

Quick resupply of ink and cartridges from local stock is a genuine practical benefit, since it keeps a busy NCR line from stopping mid-shift over something as avoidable as running out of consumables.

Before signing a purchase order, it is worth insisting on an on-site trial run using your own product. A printer that performs well in a supplier's showroom does not always behave the same way on your specific carton, bottle or pouch.
